MIDWESTERN HEMP DATABASE

The Midwestern Hemp Database leverages grower-collaborator networks to provide research backed, regional insight into agronomic performance and cannabinoid development of industrial hemp varieties. This project is a collaboration between University of Illinois Extension, Rock River Laboratory Inc., Pride Analytics & Consulting, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Michigan State University Extension, Purdue University Extension. HEMP CULTIVAR TRIALS

As part of the S-1084 Multistate Hatch Project: Industrial Hemp Production, Processing, and Marketing in the U.S. my research group participated in a multistate CBD/CBG cultivar trial. This trial took place Alma, WI and was in collaboration with five state extension educators. A second hemp cultivar trial took place at the Arlington Agricultural Research Station with additional locations East Troy, WI (Michael Fields Ag Institute) and Chatham, MI (Michigan State University). Data (flowering time, yield, cannabinoid content) was collected on 44 cultivars. Trial results can be found here.
